Antidote!

Well, as expected, the highly anticipated Antidote Summer collection has arrived!

I assume most of you have seen the spoilers, and seen the store. Quite a few of you have probably indulged in the coveted items, if you have the money, of course.

I, for one, have never bought something limited in my life, I'd rather buy 10 gorgeous items, than one that is distinctly... bleugh, just for the sake of selling it on in the future; but I know that, for some, limited edition clothes are gold dust to be bought and treasured, so I give you, my Antidote review.

This season's Antidote is becoming known as "The Recolour" season, and it's easy to spot why. Nearly all of the items are recolours of other items from previous seasons, other shops, and even the design shop! As for the peach top, I can see plenty of aspiring designers creating an identical, cheap, alternative; so I suggest you shouldn't buy this if you aren't intending to sell it. Other than those items, I think this season is quite the success! My favourite pieces are the black skirt and the green and grey striped dress, which I think is absolutely gorgeous.

Clearly this season is a lot better than the last, with it's bizarre dolls and strange, candy-coloured monstrosities, but not as good as the previous seasons, which were nearly all sold out by the end of the day. Altogether, I can safely say, this season is nice... just nice.
